According to the Miami Herald: Taveres Anthony Canty, a 34-year-old man from Little Haiti, has a warrant out for his arrest after attempting to grab one woman unsuccessfully and then entering the home of another and raping her at gunpoint. The police have released a video (found HERE) of the assailant and asks that anyone who has any information regarding Canty to come forward and call the Miami Police Department’s Special Victims Unit at 305-603-6300 or the Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477). The police have also been quoted as saying:“It is important for anyone who recognizes this person to call us. Detectives are working aggressively to try to find him.” – Kira Delva, Miami Police Department Spokesperson.
